What's the difference between a chiropodist and podiatrist?
Both terms are legally protected and can only be used by someone who has trained for a period of three years, obtaining what is now a degree in Podiatry. Upon obtaining this degree the person can use the letters D Pod M. (Diploma in Podiatric Medicine and or BSc (pod) Batchelor of Science in Podiatry and also M.Ch.S (Member of Society of Chiropody and Podiatrists.
What other registration is required?
We are required by law to be registered with the Health Care Professions Council HCPC.
How do I book an appointment?
Simply call us on 02380 223113 and speak to one of our receptionists who will book an appointment for you and tell you exactly where we are situated, how to get there and where to park.
Do you treat people with Diabetes?
Yes, we treat people with diabetes and other conditions.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Cancelling or changing an appointment less than 24 hours beforehand incurs a charge. Other than that just speak to the receptionist who will cancel the appointment and make a new one. A charge maybe made for missed appointment.
Are there parking facilities?
There is a council run car park less than 100 yards from the Surgery. There are also metered parking bays opposite the surgery.
